Situation Report

Why this exists

Turning Point

Grew up not poor, not wealthy — a single mother raising four kids. Joined an investment club at community college almost by accident. The professor running it wasn't flexing anything — just a modest, happy life funded by dividends and time with his kids. First time I heard the words "financial freedom" and actually wanted it.

Before the Uniform

Street racer. Two jobs — hospital kitchen and patient watch — while grinding through community college with no clear direction and a kid on the way. A judge dismissed a case tied to all of it on one condition: never show up in that courtroom again. That's the version of me this account doesn't hide from.

16 Years in the Guard Taught Me #1Warrior Mindset

16 years in the Guard taught me #1: comfort is dangerous.

The moment you get comfortable — in your job, your habits, your bank account — is the moment you stop growing. Get uncomfortable on purpose before life forces you to.

Money Lesson from the Military #1Warrior Wealth

Money Lesson from the Military #1: Automate it or you'll talk yourself out of it.

I don't "decide" to save every month. Money moves from checking to a high-yield savings account to my brokerage before I ever see it. Remove the willpower requirement.

Warrior Travel Tip #1Warrior Travel

Warrior Travel Tip #1: Stop waiting until you're "rich" to travel.

You don't need a fat bank account. You need a plan, a little discipline, and to actually use the benefits and points sitting on the table right now.

Good Resource for the Military #1Warrior Resources

Good Resource for the Military #1: Your benefits are part of your compensation, not a favor.

Education funding, career programs, discounted travel, veteran-focused networks — you earned access to these. Most people never use half of what's available to them.

Warrior-to-Architect

The workbook

The candidate paid product — structure as the subject, not the backdrop.

Warrior-to-Architect workbook cover — a load-bearing column rising from formation-rank ticks, architectural floor markers, a drafting title block, and a compass rose

Warrior-to-Architect

A workbook built the way a structure gets built — one load-bearing decision at a time. Discipline, patience, and a plan you actually execute, not another list of tips you'll forget by Friday.
